拉斐爾·庫索，意大利帕多瓦大學(xué)土木與環(huán)境工程系名譽(yù)教授，國際固體廢物工作組創(chuàng )始人之一,曾于米蘭理工大學(xué)（Politecnico）學(xué)習化學(xué)工程。他曾擔任國際廢物工作組（IWWG）主席，并同時(shí)是《廢物管理》雜志的主編。主要研究領(lǐng)域包括處理污水流的分離以及液體和固體生活廢物的整體處理和處置;灰水的植物處理;固體廢物有機餾分和黑水的厭氧消化;阿爾卑斯山避難所的液體和固體廢物處理;污泥和各種有機廢物的堆肥;垃圾填埋場(chǎng)在不同負荷壓力下的固體廢物降解等。他撰寫(xiě)了 200 多篇文章和會(huì )議論文，并共同編輯了 5 本關(guān)于廢物管理和垃圾填埋技術(shù)書(shū)籍

Rafael Cossu, Emeritus Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Padua (Italy) and co-founder of the International Waste Working Group (IWWG), holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Milan. Former Chair of the IWWG and Editor-in-Chief of Waste Management journal, his pioneering research spans integrated wastewater and municipal solid/liquid waste treatment, greywater phytoremediation, anaerobic digestion of organic waste, sustainable waste management in Alpine refuges, sludge composting, and landfill degradation dynamics under diverse conditions. With over 200 articles, conference papers, and five co-edited books on waste management and landfill technologies, Professor Cossu’s work has shaped global advancements in sustainable waste solutions.
